The gentleman on the left of this picture, is Ulf Ranshede, one of the founders of the Sweden Democrats.


Although the party claims to have purged itself of skinheads, the skinhead in these pictures is Erik Almqvist, the Sweden Democrats former economic policy spokesman. He calls the man a "Paki lover", before embarking on an assault on a woman, and a drunken rampage brandishing a scaffold pole through the streets with fellow Sweden Democrat Kent Ekeroth.

After the serial killer and bank robber John “the Laser Man” Ausonius shot 11 immigrants in Stockholm, the Sweden Democrats arranged a march during which participants screamed that he should have shot more foreigners.

Shortly afterwards, police arrested the leader of the party’s youth wing at a Communist May Day demonstration for possessing a hand grenade.

“For many thousands of years, the Negro could chill out in the heat, munch some bananas, rape some passing woman or child, fight with other Negro males, and eat them,” one local Sweden Democratic politician, Per Wahlberg, wrote on his blog in September 2010.

Some months later, another local Sweden Democrat named Isak Nygren said that he opposed “race mixing” and that Swedes should not have intercourse with “Asians” or “Negroes.”

In summer 2012, local politician Pär Norling said that practicing Muslims should be deported and Islam should be banned in Sweden.

Member of parliament Stellan Bojerud, author of a book called Nazism in Sweden 1924-1945, claimed that scientific research shows that immigrants have a “lower IQ” than Swedes.

The Guardian reported that Anders Breivik had received a speaking invitation from the Sweden Democrats. After Breivik's attack, the Sweden Democrats’ press secretary quickly claimed that Islamists were responsible for the attacks.

Another notorious figure from the far-right to have received, and accepted, a speaking invite from the Sweden Democrats is Alan Lake of the English Defence League (EDL).

In an apparent reference to his links with the English Defence League, Lake added:

Another strategy we're trying to do in the UK, is reach out to more physical groups like football fans, get them involved. Well actually they're contacting us, because they're concerned, and these are people who are happy to go out on the street. I mean your average intellectual is happy typing on his PC, but we've reached the end of that road. You're not going to get a fat lot more mileage out of that.

Nigel Farage’s Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy group recruited an MEP from the Congress of the New Right with the blessing of its controversial leader Janusz Korwin-Mikke, according to reports from Poland. The Polish MEP Robert Iwaszkiewicz is to join the EFDD’s ranks as an individual, which will restore the group, a Ukip spokesman said.

The deal means that the EFDD group, set up by Farage, has 25 MEPs from seven countries, which should guarantee that Ukip will maintain about £1m a year in funding. The group received €2.6m (£2.1m) in 2013. Ukip accounts for 53.3% of the group.

The deal is yet to be confirmed by the European parliament, after Iwaszkiewicz’s application was handed in this afternoon.

Korwin-Mikke, whose party has two remaining MEPs and received 7.5% support in Poland during May’s European parliamentary elections, is one of the most outspoken figures within the far-right groupings of parliament.

In July, he declared in English that the minimum wage should be “destroyed” and said that “four million niggers” lost their jobs in the US as a result of President John F Kennedy signing a bill on the minimum wage in 1961. He went on to claim that 20 million young Europeans were being treated as “negroes” as a result of the minimum wage. He refused to apologise and was fined 10 days of allowances for his comments.

Korwin-Mikke has also called for the vote to be taken away from women, has claimed that the difference between rape and consensual sex is “very subtle” and said that Adolf Hitler was “probably not aware that Jews were being exterminated”.

Marine Le Pen, the leader of the Front National, ruled out forming an alliance with the Congress of the New Right after the European elections. “His [Korvin-Mikke’s] remarks, his political views ran contrary to our values,” she said at the time.

Ukip's far-right Euro partner attacks 'Holocaust industry'
In a recent interview with the JC, Korwin-Mikke said that Jews’ efforts to win back property stolen during the Second World War often amounted to a “Holocaust industry”.

Korwin-Mikke said: “If somebody tries to get property which doesn’t belong directly to him, he should not get it. We are against returning property that belonged to one Jew to another Jew. It is a Holocaust industry.”

The 71-year-old MEP also claimed that the only Jews left in Poland were “Jewish communists”, adding: “Jews are very talented people, and therefore are our worst enemies, because they are talented communists.

“This is why the Poles have a specific image of Jews. They don’t know the real Jews, only the Communists ones who stayed here.”
